McKellar is a residential suburb of Canberra, Australia in the Belconnen district.

The suburb is named after Colin McKellar who was Minister for Repatriation from 1964-70. The suburb name was gazetted on 15 January 1974. The streets of McKellar are named for journalists with the main street of the suburb called Dumas Street.

McKellar has its own Neighbourhood Watch, with regular newsletters sent around to households. The Australian Federal Police (AFP) statistics regularly show low incidents of crime compared to the suburb's surrounding regions. (Source: Wiki)
