Kippa-Ring is a residential and light industrial suburb of the Moreton Bay Region.

The suburb's curious name is a combination of the Kabi indigenous word "kippa", meaning young uninitiated man, and ring, a reference to a bora ring.

Kippa-Ring is home to the Peninsula Fair Shopping Centre, as well as Kippa-Ring Village shopping centre, both of which are side by side.
